Hi Levi this sounds like a very interesting book. It was great to read your descriptions of two of the characters from your book, to enhance this I would have added quotes from the book to back up your opinion of the characters. In your next reading log I want you to develop this area as well as work on how you are making connections. In your personal response you say you can relate to this text but you really don't say why, you then turn this connection into a text to the world. Next time separate into 3 sections Text to Text; Text to Self and Text to the World. In addition more detail and evidence from the text is needed in each section, feel free to discuss my comments before starting your next reading log.
